Bruce A. Karsh

Since 1995, Mr. Karsh has served as President and co-founder of Oaktree Capital Management, L.P., formerly Oaktree Capital Management, LLC, a Los Angeles-based investment management firm. Prior to co-founding Oaktree, Mr. Karsh was a Managing Director of the TCW Group, and the portfolio manager of its Special Credits Funds for seven years. Prior to joining TCW, Mr. Karsh worked as Assistant to the Chairman of Sun Life Insurance Company of America and of SunAmerica, Inc., its parent. Prior to that, Mr. Karsh was an attorney with the law firm of O’Melveny & Myers. Mr. Karsh serves on the board of directors of Charter Communications, Inc. and Oaktree Capital Group, LLC. Mr. Karsh also serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Duke University’s investment management company.
