Update: Debate to Air On Five Additional Stations
WGN News and the Chicago Tribune will present a live, televised debate between the four Republican candidates for governor on Wednesday, March 5th at 6pm on WGN-TV Chicago, simulcast on CLTV and WGN Radio, streamed live on WGNtv.com and ChicagoTribune.com.
In addition to WGN-TV, other stations broadcasting the WGN/Chicago Tribune debate include: WGEM – Quincy, WQAD-Quad Cities, WAOE- Peoria, WIFR-Rockford and WREX-Rockford.
State Senators Bill Brady and Kirk Dillard, Illinois Treasurer Dan Rutherford and businessman Bruce Rauner will participate. The debate will last one hour with no commercial breaks and will be hosted by Bruce Dold, editorial page editor for the Chicago Tribune, and Micah Materre, anchor for WGN News.
Limited seating at the WGN-TV Studios will be available to the public. Registration is required. Information about how to register will be conveyed in the Chicago Tribune.
