WGN-TV Celebrates Chicago Bulls with “WGN Bulls Day”
WGN-TV will be celebrating the beginning of the Chicago Bulls 2012-2013 season with “Bulls Day” on all WGN newcasts on Tuesday, October 30. Throughout the day, Bulls personnel will be stopping by the studios, appearing on WGN Morning News, WGN Midday News, WGN News at Five and WGN News at Nine.
Coverage includes: in-studio interviews with Scottie Pippen, Gar Forman, Sam Smith, and John Paxon; fun with Benny the Bull; a special Around Town featuring wheelchair basketball, and a performance by the Stampede drumline. Viewers will be able to interact all throughout the day on Twitter with the hashtag #WGNBulls and at WGNtv.com/BullsDay.
In addition to these events, WGN Morning News viewers between 7-9a will have the opportunity to enter for one of two sets of 4 tickets to the Bulls season opening game (televised live on WGN Sports) THIS Wednesday night. A complete schedule is below:
