Tribune Completes Sale of WCWN-TV, Albany

Tribune Company (NYSE:TRB) today announced that it has completed the sale of WCWN-TV (channel 45), Albany, to Freedom Communications, Inc. for $17 million in cash.
In addition to WCWN, Tribune expects the sale of WLVI-TV, Boston, to close this month. To date, the company has sold or agreed to sell approximately $450 million of non-core assets.
