WGN Radio will host an official ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly renovated Allstate Showcase Studio at 435 N. Michigan Avenue this Friday, Sept. 21st at 4:30 p.m.  The ribbon cutting will feature WGN Radio on-air talent and Allstate Insurance Company executives, followed by a live interview on the Garry Meier show at 5:15 p.m. with Alice Byrne, Field Senior Vice President for Allstate’s Midwest Region.
 
This past May WGN Radio announced the new partnership with longtime sponsor Allstate, which brought together two Chicagoland-based institutions that have been part of the community’s fabric for over 80 years. Following the station’s move to the 7th floor of Tribune Tower this summer, the Allstate Showcase Studio underwent technical upgrades and an interior studio wrap featuring WGN Radio and Allstate graphics was installed.
