FIRST LOCAL INTERVIEW
AIRS 6:30 PM SATURDAY 4/28 AND 6 AM SUNDAY 4/29
In a rare, one-on-one, in-depth interview, Timothy Cardinal Dolan will sit down with PIX11 News Closeup host Marvin Scott and Mary Murphy. This will be Cardinal Dolan’s first extended local television interview since his elevation. The exclusive interview will air on PIX11 on Saturday at 6:30pm and Sunday at 6 am.
Murphy was in Rome in February to report on Archbishop Dolan’s formal elevation to Cardinal by Pope Benedict XVI.
Among other issues, Cardinal Dolan will be asked about his current battle with the Obama administration over the controversial health care contraception mandate, the role of religion in this year’s election, and his style of leadership as head of the largest Archdiocese in the nation.
Now in its 19th year “PIX11 News Closeup” airs every Sunday at 6:00 am on PIX11.
