WGN-TV and Tribune Central Creative Group Honored With Telly Awards

During the 33rd annual Telly Awards, WGN-TV and the Tribune central region stations won a total of five awards. The winners of the Silver Award, the highest honor, are “Eye Opener” for Editing and the “Chicago Cubs Open” for the category of Sports/ Sporting Goods/ Games. The winners of a Bronze Award are “Bill Cunningham” for the category Campaign, Promotional/Branding, “Chicago’s Very Own” for Campaign, Promotional/ Branding, and “WGN Night Cap” also for Campaign, Promotional/ Branding.
The Telly Awards, which award for creative excellence, is the premier award honoring film and video productions, groundbreaking web commercials, videos and films, and outstanding local, regional and cable TV commercials and programs.
