Q13 FOX Introduces News at Four
Now Offers More Local News Than Any Other Station
Q13 FOX (KCPQ, Channel 13) continues its commitment to delivering breaking news, the day’s important stories and the most accurate and useful weather forecasts by launching a 4:00pm newscast on March 26th. Q13 FOX News at Four will air weekdays from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. The one-hour addition to the Q13 FOX News weekday line-up will make Q13 FOX the station that offers the most local TV news coverage Monday through Friday.
“Adding the 4p news provides us with the opportunity to give our viewers access to the information they need to plan their evening and get ready for the next day. We’re covering news that matters to our viewers and working hard to include voices and viewpoints you don’t see every day, in addition to the most up to date and accurate weather and traffic.” said Q13 FOX News Director Jon Brady.
Q13 FOX News at Five anchors Matt Lorch and Marni Hughes will anchor Q13 FOX News at Four. In addition to veteran journalists Lorch and Hughes, Q13 FOX News at Four will feature Washington State’s premiere political analyst C.R. Douglas, who will provide a compelling breakdown of the current political landscape. The new hour will also feature award winning meteorologist Walter Kelley, already providing the area’s most accurate weather forecasts at 5:00pm, 9:00pm and 10:00pm.
Q13 FOX’s other news programs include Q13 FOX News This Morning, Q13 FOX News at Five and Q13 FOX News at Ten on Q13 FOX and Q13 FOX News at Nine, which airs on Q13 FOX’s sister station JOEtv (KZJO, Channel 22).
