The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation announces 37th Annual Gracie Award Winners. Among those winners was CW33 News at Nine Weekend Anchor, Dawn Tongish. Dawn received an award for Outstanding Reporter/Correspondent. The winners will be recognized at an industry luncheon on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at the historic Beverly Wilshire Hotel, Beverly Hills, CA.
The Gracies recognize exemplary programming created for women, by women and about women in all facets of electronic media, as well as individuals who have made contributions to the industry. The awards program also encourages the realistic and multifaceted portrayal of women in entertainment, news, features and other programs.
