FOX 17 Names Leigh Ann Towne as New Multi-Media Journalist
FOX 17 has hired Leigh Ann Towne as a multi-media journalist for FOX 17 NEWS AT FIVE, FOX 17 NEWS AT SIX, and FOX 17 NEWS AT TEN effective immediately.
“We are very excited to have Leigh Ann join the FOX 17 family,” said News Director Kerri Cavanaugh. “Her experience and knowledge of the area will be a tremendous asset for us.”
Prior to coming to FOX 17, Leigh Ann was an anchor for WTRF in Wheeling, W.Va. where she worked for six years. She also was an anchor and reporter for four years at WEYI in Flint. Leigh Ann got her start in journalism as an intern for WDIV in Detroit while attending Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts.
