Antenna TV Brings Classic TV to Charlotte
WJZY-TV to launch new network on multicast channel 46.2
Classic free over the air TV comes to Charlotte as Capitol Broadcasting’s WJZY launches the highly anticipated Antenna TV Network on its multicast channel 46.2 beginning this Monday July 25th.
Featuring classic TV shows such as Father Knows Best, Dennis the Menace, Good Times, Maude, Sanford and Son and Three’s Company Antenna TV has captured the eyes and hearts of viewers across the country with its family friendly line up. Antenna TV also features legendary movies from the Sony/Columbia studio vault dating back more than 60 years.

Everyone at WJZY is thrilled to be a part of the local launch of Antenna TV,” said WJZY Vice-President and General Manager Shawn Harris. “Programs like these are the very foundation of today’s comedy and entertainment television. They may have come from a different time, but they are really timeless. I can’t tell you the number of calls and emails we’ve received from viewers all across the region asking when we would put this channel on the air.”

In addition to broadcasting over the air on WJZY 46.2 Antenna TV will be available on Time Warner Cable channel 147. Station representatives are in discussions with the areas other cable organizations and expect Antenna TV to be available to all local subscribers in the near future.
