The 33 CW (KDAF-TV), Tribune Broadcasting’s Dallas/Fort Worth CW affiliate, was awarded a Gold and Silver Muse last night at the 2011 PROMAX/BDALocal Station Summit in Las Vegas.  The 33 CW won a Gold Muse for a news image promo that first aired during a Dallas Cowboys game in December 2010.  The spot was produced with assistance from Tribune Creative Group in Chicago who provided motion design for the project.  The Silver Muse award was shared with the creative team at FX Design Group for KDAF’s HD news set. 
 
The 2011 PROMAX/BDALocal Awards honor outstanding promotion, marketing and design work in local broadcasting.  The eligibility period was January, 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010.    The following are the two awards presented to The 33 CW:
