WGN Radio Tops Ratings

WGN Sports Night shows improvement without the influence of Cubs or Blackhawks
The April Arbitron radio ratings released today show that WGN Radio ranks first among overall listeners 12+ Mon-Sun 6a-12a, delivering a 5.6 share.
Of particular note is the 7-10 p.m. program WGN Sports Night, which displayed steady growth both year-to-year and month-to-month without the influence of Cubs baseball or Blackhawks hockey. On days when Cubs or Blackhawks games weren’t broadcast, the show was up 45% from April 2010 and up 23% from March 2011.
