WGN Radio Morning Show Hosts Opening Day Broadcast Live from Wrigley Field’s Captain Morgan Club
WGN Radio morning host Greg Jarrett and sports director Dave Eanet broadcast live from Wrigley Field’s Captain Morgan Club this Friday, April 1 from 5-8:30 a.m. in celebration of the start of the Chicago Cubs season. The opening day show is open to the public and features a full roster of guests live at the Captain Morgan Club, plus attendees have the opportunity to win Cubs tickets throughout the morning. Following the morning show, midday host Mike McConnell broadcasts live from Goose Island Wrigleyville alongside sports director Dave Eanet from 8:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. when Cubs Central pre-game takes the air. Sports reporter/host David Kaplan joins them at 11 a.m. and host Nick Digilio provides live on-the-street reporting from around Wrigleyville. The broadcast is closed to the public. Following the game, afternoon host Garry Meier also broadcasts live from Goose Island Wrigleyville until 5:50 p.m., which is open to the public.
