Will and Kate are getting hitched and WGN Morning News has decided to throw a wedding… a Royal Wedding!  One lucky engaged couple will win the ultimate Royal Wedding and get married live on WGN Morning News on April 28, 2011, a day before Will and Kate tie the knot!  Starting March 4, couples wishing to enter must log on to wgntv.com/contests and click on the “Royal Wedding” logo by Thursday, March 16 to complete and submit the official entry form, along with a short essay about the couple’s love story and why the couple should receive the ”royal wedding.”   A .jpg photo of the happy couple must be attached as well.  The top three couples will be chosen by WGN and posted for public voting from March 18 – March 25.  And then the voting begins!  From the flowers, to the hair, to the dress… all the details of the couple’s big day will be decided by voters at WGNtv.com. The Royal Wedding prize package includes: a live on-air wedding ceremony on WGN Morning News, a rehearsal dinner for 20 at Riva located at Navy Pier, the reception (food and beverage) for up to 75 guests at the majestic Meyers Castle.  Classic wedding invitations will be provided by Magnet Street Weddings.  Event designers from Heffernan Morgan will mastermind the floral arrangements, table settings, ceremony & reception decor and the bride’s bouquet.  Also included is a wedding gown from couture bridal boutique, Shelley’s Bridal, a tuxedo rental from Formally Modern Tuxedo, a fanciful wedding cake from Dinkel’s Bakery, music by Becca Kaufman Orchestra, and hairstyle and make up for the bride by HIP Salon.  The wedding bands will be provided by Martin & Martin, Inc.  George Street Photography will be providing the photography and videography services.
