WGN-TV to Air “Snowed Under: The Story of the 2011 Blizzard”

WGN-TV Chief Meteorologist Tom Skilling and the Weather Center team called the Blizzard of 2011 more than a week in advance, so who better than the team to help us relive it?
With exclusive footage, and untold stories, WGN will air half hour special “Snowed Under: The Story of the 2011 Blizzard,” Thursday, March 3 at 9:30pm. “Snowed Under” will dissect this cataclysmic event with the experts, from the spot-on forecast to the record breaking snow totals, winds and low visibility. Viewers will hear from those who experienced the blizzard from the front lines: the firefighters, the snowplow drivers and the news photographers who risked their lives that night. Join WGN for a tale of an epic snowfall this Thursday night.
