WGN-TV to Air “The 2011 Chicago Auto Show”
WGN-TV will premiere “The 2011 Chicago Auto Show” on Saturday, February 12 from 6-7pm. Encore presentations will air Sunday, February 13 at 2pm on CLTV and 11pm-12am on WGN-TV. “The 2011 Chicago Auto Show,” held at McCormick Place, will showcase the newest technology in cars. From the fastest coupes to the most eco-friendly hybrids, viewers will see a variety of the latest vehicles to meet a number of consumer needs.
WGN-TV’s Valerie Warner will co-host the show along with MotorWeek’s John Davis. Also, WGN reporters Marcus Leshock and Dan Ponce will rove and report from the showroom floor.
The Chicago Auto Show is known for its thrills. This year, it’ll be one of the first auto shows to have five indoor “Ride and Drive” test tracks experiences! In addition, manufacturers will offer tours of the latest cars, distribute rebates to visitors, and hold workshops to educate drivers on the fundamentals of owning a vehicle. “The 2011 Chicago Auto Show” is open to the public from February 11 – 19 from 10am–10pm and on February 20 from 10am-8pm.
