Bears vs. Dolphins Ratings Touchdown on WGN-TV with 26.2 hh Rating
WGN-TV’s carriage of NFL Network’s telecast of the Chicago Bears vs. Miami Dolphins delivered the highest audience during prime time television in Chicago last night with at 26.2 HH rating. WGN-TV also generated the highest broadcast television rating for an NFLN simulcast game of the Chicago Bears since the network began airing live games in Chicago in 2007.
WGN-TV was the first local station to broadcast games of all five Chicago sports teams in the same year. Tribune Broadcasting and NFL Network reached an agreement last June for the over-the-air local broadcast rights to six late-season NFL Network Thursday Night Football games. The agreement began on WGN-TV with the Chicago Bears @ Miami Dolphins on November 18 and continues with other stations within Tribune Broadcasting group.
