WGN-TV to Carry Chicago Bears @ Miami Dolphins Nov 18 starting at 6:30pm
WGN-TV will become the first local station to broadcast games of all five Chicago sports teams in the same year when Chicago’s Very Own airs the Chicago Bears game on Thursday, November 18, starting coverage at 6:30pm. Tribune Broadcasting and the National Football League reached an agreement last June for the over-the-air local broadcast rights to six late-season NFL games. The agreement begins on WGN-TV when the Chicago Bears play against the Miami Dolphins at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
Before the game, Dan Roan will host the “Miller Lite Thursday Night Countdown” pregame show in HD, live from Miami. The show will feature scouting reports, interviews with both teams and will take a look back at the 1985 Monday night game in Miami, where the Super Bowl Champion Bears lost their only game. The pregame show starts the night off at 6:30pm followed by the NFL Network game coverage at 7pm. WGN News following the game will include full postgame coverage live from Florida.
