FOX 17 News at Ten Names Jason Volentine as Weekend Co-Anchor

FOX 17 has hired Jason Volentine as the weekend co-anchor of FOX 17 NEWS AT TEN as well as a reporter for FOX 17 NEWS AT SIX and FOX 17 NEWS AT TEN weeknights effective immediately.
For the past eight months, Jason worked at KIAH-TV in Houston as a general assignment reporter. Prior to his employment in Texas, he served as a weekend evening anchor for KOLN/KGIN in Lincoln, Nebraska.
“I’m thrilled to have Jason join the FOX 17 team”, said News Director, Kerri Cavanaugh. “He brings a great mix of anchoring and reporting experience to our station.”
Jason is a graduate of the University of Nebraska in Lincoln where he earned his Bachelor of Journalism degree, as well as minors in English and political science with a history emphasis.
