Chicago Tribune Media Group (CTMG) announced today that it will begin distributing copies of the Chicago Sun-Times to newsstands, retail locations and vending newsracks in the city of Chicago. Chicago Tribune drivers will distribute the Sun-Times daily seven days a week, including the early Sunday edition that is delivered on Saturday.
This seven year agreement is an addendum to CTMG’s current distribution agreement with Sun-Times. Currently, the Chicago Tribune delivers all home delivered copies of the Chicago Sun-Times and most affiliated suburban newspapers, and newsstand copies outside the city of

The agreement will begin on October 18, 2010.
Currently, the Chicago Tribune holds local distribution agreements with more than 87 publications, including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Financial Times, Investor Business Daily, and USA Today.
