WGN Radio Continues to Show Improved Ratings Year Over Year

The May Arbitron radio ratings released Wednesday show improved performance for WGN-AM 720 compared to one year ago.
Among overall listeners 6+ Mon-Sun 6a-12a, WGN is ranked second with a 5.6 share in May 2010, up from a 4.3 share in May 2009. In the 35-64 demo Mon-Sun 6a-12a, WGN also ranked second with a 5.2 share, up from a 4.1 share a year ago.
Greg Jarrett also continues to show strong improvement year over year, ranked first among overall listeners 12+ Mon-Fri 5-9am with a 9.0 share, compared to a 7.3 share in 2009.
“The trend over the past five months is considerably better than the comparable five months of 2009,” said WGN Radio Program Director Kevin Metheny.
