Local Chicagoan Lee Abrams Unique “Sky Dives” Now Airing on WGN-TV
Local Chicagoan and SVP/Chief Innovation Officer, Lee Abrams is the host of “Sky Dives,” an interstitial campaign which visits the most eclectic local food joints across the country. These short segments, which run throughout the programming day on weekends, recently launched on WGN-TV. Abrams currently resides in Burr Ridge, but hails from the Homewood-Flossmoor area. He received his pilot’s license in 1967 from Midway Airport.
Currently in its second season “Sky Dives” features Abrams flying around the country “diving in” to the best local eateries. Aboard his Cirrus SR22 plane, Abrams visits Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Madison, Evansville, Ann Arbor, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Duluth, St. Louis, Detroit, Cincinnati, Toledo, Nashville, Traverse City, and Buffalo. Once he lands in each city he films the best foods from the best “dives.” Tune in to WGN this summer to see Abrams’ exciting experiences from the pilot’s seat!
In addition to WGN-TV, “Sky Dives” runs throughout the day on WGN America and CLTV throughout the summer.
