Tribune365, the national sales solutions group for Tribune Company, today announced that Donna Palmer has been named account director/political and advocacy sales.
Based in Washington, D.C., Palmer will work with Tribune’s publishing division to develop a strong presence within the political and advocacy sales community.
“Donna brings extensive experience and sales leadership in the political and advocacy channels. We are thrilled Donna will represent our print and online properties in Washington D.C.,” said Doug Thomas, executive vice president/general manager for Tribune365.
Palmer joins Tribune365 from Congressional Quarterly where she spent the last six years in senior sales roles, overseeing issue and advocacy sales for the publication’s print and online divisions. Throughout her career she has worked closely with key influencers and decision-makers in corporate, issue and advocacy sales and has extensive experience and relationships within the D.C. area.
“I believe there’s a clear opportunity in Washington to raise awareness of the extensive capabilities of Tribune’s properties, and I’m looking forward to telling their story,” Palmer added.
Prior to joining Congressional Quarterly, Palmer was the Publisher of the Atlantic Monthly Magazine, where she provided strong leadership and cultivated critical sales relationships for the publication. Palmer attended Northwestern University earning a Bachelor of Arts in Art History.
