WGN-TV Announces 2007-08 Chicago Bulls Schedule on WGN-TV and WCIU
CHICAGO, AUGUST 22, 2007 — WGN-TV and WCIU will air a total of 33 Chicago Bulls games during the 2007-2008 basketball season.
The Bulls tipoff on WGN-TV against Michael Redd and the division rival Milwaukee Bucks on November 3. On November 10, the Bulls battle the Toronto Raptors and superstar forward Chris Bosh. Chicago takes on the ‘new-look’ Boston Celtics with newly-signed free agents Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen on December 8 and March 7. On December 11, top rookie and former college ‘player of the year’ Kevin Durant and the Seattle Supersonics take on the Bulls. Chicago then matches up with ‘future hall of famer’ Tim Duncan and the World Champion San Antonio Spurs on December 26, and on January 19 the Bulls take on their old nemesis and division rival, the Detroit Pistons, who bounced them from the playoffs last season.
On WCIU, Phil Jackson, Kobe Bryant and the LA Lakers face the Bulls at the United Center on December 18. The Bulls head down to Texas to take on Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks on February 25, and on April 8, the Bulls look to continue their winning ways against Pat Riley, Dwyane Wade, Shaquille O’Neal and the Miami Heat.
Chicago used the 9th pick in the NBA draft to select former Florida Gator and two-time NCAA Champion Joakim Noah. With the addition of Noah, and the improving play of last year’s #1 pick Tyrus Thomas, the Bulls have two formidable young, big men ready to reach new heights.
