WGN Radio’s Dean Richards to Host Annual, Award Winning Breast Cancer Special
CHICAGO, October 23, 2007 — WGN Radio’s Dean Richards presents the 2007 edition of his annual breast cancer special this Sunday, October 28 from 12-3 p.m. on News/Talk 720 WGN Radio. This year’s program, entitled “Surviving Breast Cancer, Surviving Health Care”, examines the usual mix of the basics on fighting the disease, the latest research, incredible survivor stories, plus information on how to survive the health care system: choosing doctors, hospitals, insurance companies, pharmacies, and how to make sure you’re covered.
Richards will broadcast his special live from the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago, which is hosting the Pink Pajama Party to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation on the evening of October 27.
