WGN Radio Presents a Special 720 News Series,“Changing The Odds”

CHICAGO, January 22, 2008 –WGN Radio News presents the next 720 News Series, “Changing the Odds”, a look at the challenges facing children with a parent in jail or prison. Statistics show the chances those children will follow their parents to jail are 70 percent. There are programs designed to help, but new efforts are underway. WGN Radio News Anchor Steve Bertrand will introduce listeners to the children being mentored, as well as those determined to change the odds these children face.
The three part series will air in the 7 a.m., Noon, 5 p.m., and 11 p.m. WGN Radio news Wednesday, January 23rd through Friday, January 25th.
