HARTFORD February 15, 2008 — Fox 61 WTIC-TV has named KarraLynn Strickland Producer of the Fox 61 Morning Show launching in March. Strickland relocated to Connecticut from Greensboro, NC where she was the Evening News Producer at the CBS affiliate WFMY.

“Karra is a creative and talented producer with a proven track record of ratings success. We are excited she is part of the Fox 61 Morning Show news team,” said Bob Rockstroh, Fox 61 New Director.

Prior to her time at WFMY, Strickland worked as an Executive Producer and Assignment Editor for the NBC affiliate KNBN in Rapid City, SD. Strickland graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Mass Communications with a News Editorial Focus and Technical Communications Minor from Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN.
