GRAND RAPIDS, February 29, 2008 –FOX 17 WXMI has named Lindsay Kus as the weekend co-anchor for the FOX 17 News at Ten effective immediately.
Lindsay has co-anchored the weekend news with Mike Avery on an interim basis since October 2007. She joined WXMI in November of 2006 as a news reporter for FOX 17 News at Ten. Prior to her coming to FOX 17 Lindsay held many positions ranging from reporting to anchoring for WREX Channel 13 in Rockford, Illinois.
“Lindsay has done a great job for us since joining our station in late 2006. She’s a wonderful story-teller who’s very adept at presenting complex stories in a clear and concise way. We’re pleased to have her become a permanent fixture of the FOX 17 News at Ten weekend anchor team.” said FOX 17 News Director, Tim Dye.
Lindsay earned a Broadcast Journalism degree from Indiana University in Bloomington.
