MIAMI / FT. LAUDERDALE, May 7, 2008–WSFL-TV/ CW South Florida Station Manager Allyson Meyers announces Leroy Donald, our newest addition to our Championship Media Account Management team. Leroy Donald comes to WSFL-TV and will journey to the new frontier that is WSFL-TV Media Account Management.

“We are thrilled to have Leroy join us. He brings a wealth of market knowledge and experience having both bought and sold this market,” said Desi Hernandez Local Sales Manager for WSFL-TV.

Donald has been a local Account Executive for WFOR-TV generating new business and maintaining existing accounts. Prior to WFOR-TV, Donald served as an Account Executive for Fox Stations Sales in New York, NY. Donald has also served as a Media Buyer for markets in Houston, Miami and West Palm Beach.

Donald holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from New York Institute of Technology. Donald will put that degree with his past experience to use and become part of the “market management” an approach which teams WSFL-TV with the Sun-Sentinel to form the first TV/newspaper hybrid organization serving the nation’s 6th largest MSA (Miami, Fort Lauderdale & West Palm Beach).
