CHICAGO, May 20, 2008 –Are you a fan of Dean’s List? Did you agree or disagree with his last review? WGN Morning News entertainment critic Dean Richards wants to hear your opinion. WGN-TV viewers will be able to voice their critiques of new movie releases at “Reel People Reviews” on wgntv.com.

With a few easy steps, viewers can create their own video movie reviews and submit them online at wgntv.com/reelpeople. Each week Richards will choose a few ‘real’ reviews to highlight during his entertainment segment on WGN Morning News. The new segment will launch May 27 and will air each week on Mondays.

Richards will also conduct an interactive online video chat session Friday, May 23 at 9:00am at wgntv.com/livechat. Viewers will have the opportunity to chat live with him about his reviews including “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.” Viewers can also pre-submit questions or comments to Richards at wgntv.com/livechat prior to Friday at 9am. He will respond to both the live and pre-submitted questions during the chat.

On September 6, 1994, WGN-TV launched WGN Morning News from 7-8am. It quickly became a critical and ratings success. In January 1996, the show expanded to two hours, and eight months later, expanded again to air from 6-9am. In January 2001, the show launched an early edition at 5:30am. In January 2004, the show expanded to begin at 5am. On September 6, 2009, WGN Morning News will celebrate its 15th Anniversary.
