PHILADELPHIA, July 14, 2008 –Myphl17 will be holding auditions for a freelance entertainment TV host for a new local magazine show set to premiere this fall. Auditions will take place this Wednesday, July 16th from 10am to 3pm at myphl17 studios located at 5001 Wynnefield Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19131.

Must be available to shoot on location (primarily dayside) throughout the Delaware Valley and at myphl17’s studios in the Wynnefield section of Philadelphia. Our ideal host is engaging, and energetic with an upbeat personality! If you’ve got a good sense of fashion, a love of gossip, the gift of gab and most importantly, a great sense of humor, come and show us what you’ve got! A love of cooking, (and an equal love of eating) is highly desirable. Ability to operate a glue gun, assemble IKEA furniture, and wrangle children and animals is highly desirable. (Special consideration given to those who can do all four simultaneously! Valid driver’s license and access to a car is a must. (Sorry, no license, no audition)

Prior on camera experience preferred but if you’ve got all the above covered, come and audition anyway! Ability to conduct interviews with a wide range of personalities is very important. Our show will be largely unscripted and shot “live to tape.” In short…very little editing…we can’t “save you in post.” Please bring a current headshot and resume.
