CHICAGO, October 10, 2008 –WGN Radio today announced a new weather partnership with WGN-TV. The station is joining forces with its sister TV station to deliver the top local weather reporting to Chicagoans through the WGN WeatherCenter, which will debut on WGN Radio’s airwaves on October 13.
The WGN WeatherCenter will bring together the combined resources of Chicago’s most-trusted weather sources. “WGN has always been the Chicago’s #1 source for weather. The WGN WeatherCenter will carry our tradition of excellent local weather coverage to the next level!” said WGN Radio Program Director Bob Shomper. WGN meteorologist Tom Skilling, along with Paul Konrad, Jim Ramsey, Tim McGill and others will be featured throughout the broadcast day.
