CHICAGO, October 13, 2008 –WGN Radio today announced a new weather partnership with WGN-TV. The station is joining forces with its sister TV station to deliver the most complete local weather reporting to Chicagoans through the WGN WeatherCenter, which debuts on WGN Radio’s airwaves on October 13.

The WGN WeatherCenter brings together the combined resources of Chicago’s most-trusted weather sources. “WGN is the only Chicago radio station featuring the best LOCAL weather team in Chicago. This partnership with WGN-TV will carry our tradition of excellent local weather coverage to the next level!” said WGN Radio Program Director Bob Shomper. WGN-TV meteorologist Tom Skilling, along with Paul Konrad, Jim Ramsey, Tim McGill, Duffy Atkins and others will be featured throughout the broadcast day.
