CHICAGO, November 24, 2008 –WGN’s Robin Baumgarten and Paul Konrad will host the 75th McDonald’s Thanksgiving Parade, Thanksgiving morning, November 27, from 8-11am, live and in HD on WGN-TV. Marcella Raymond will serve as street-side reporter.

Celebrating 60 years as Chicago’s Very Own, WGN’s goodwill ambassador and Chicago favorite Bozo the Clown will preside over the WGN-TV float, welcoming last Wednesday’s “America’s Next Top Model” winner, Brittany “McKey” Sullivan of Lake Forest, IL, along with WGN’s Jackie Bange, Ana Belaval, Muriel Clair, Dean Richards and Julie Unruh.

The 75th annual parade kicks off the 2008 holiday season traveling down historic State Street with giant balloons, high-stepping marching bands, majestic equestrian troupes, fabulous floats, performance groups and celebrities. WGN first televised the parade in 1966 when it was called the State Street Christmas Parade.
