FOX43 Announces Chris Holden as News Director
PENNSYLVANIA, December 17, 2008 –As FOX43 NEWS prepares for a fifteenth year of serving central Pennsylvania viewers, Chris Holden has been brought on as News Director. Mr. Holden comes to WPMT FOX43 with ten years of experience in the multiple roles of producing, anchoring and reporting.
Most recently, Mr. Holden was a sports producer at NBC affiliate KPNX in Phoenix, Arizona. He produced the area’s number one weekly local sports show, “12 Sports Tonight,” with a special focus on internet-based initiatives such as weblogs and webcasts. Mr. Holden also anchored the program. Prior to working at KPNX, he performed a similar role in the sports department for Utah’s KUTV, and he spent four years at the highly popular morning news show “Good Morning Arizona” at KTVK.
Mr. Holden is a 1996 graduate of the University of Tucson.
FOX43 looks forward to leveraging Chris’s strengths in producing to craft a cutting-edge news operation. Mr. Holden will lead a department that has grown exponentially in recent years, encompassing the market’s only ten o’clock nightly news program as well as the only locally-produced four-hour morning news show.

FOX43 NEWS AT TEN continues to rank as a leader in late news among viewers aged 25 to 54.
