CHICAGO, March 11, 2009 –WGN-TV will air a live one-hour locally produced program, Circle of Care: Living with Diabetes, on Saturday, March 21 from 6-7pm CT. The program, which will feature inspiring stories from those affected by diabetes. WGN News reporters Valerie Warner and Lourdes Duarte will host this year’s program. The special will include interviews with doctors and healthcare professionals about advancements in diagnosis and treatments of diabetes as well as a discussion on how to go about your life after a diagnosis.

Phone banks will be staffed during the show with a panel of experts to answer viewers’ questions and concerns.
