CHICAGO, May 7, 2009 –Marcus Leshock joins WGN-TV as feature reporter for WGN News effective May 11, according to Greg Caputo, WGN-TV news director. “Marcus will bring his unique ‘feature-based eye’ to WGN News,” commented Caputo. “His lifestyle reports will focus on all things pop culture including social media, off-the-beaten-path locales and current events.”

For the past five years, Leshock had been a feature reporter with CLTV Chicago, hosting “Metromix on CLTV,” a local entertainment and lifestyle program.

A native of Schaumburg, Illinois, Leshock graduated from Schaumburg High School. He holds a BA and MA in communication from Northern Illinois University.
