CHICAGO, May 11, 2009 — WGN Radio’s Legally Speaking received two Meritorious Achievement Awards at the 20th Annual Herman Kogan Award luncheon and presentation, held May 7 in Chicago, in recognition for excellence in broadcast journalism. This year, the Chicago Bar Association Kogan Committee honored Legally Speaking’s “You are the Jury” segment where hosts and law partners Karen Conti and Greg Adamski square off against each other and make final jury arguments about hot legal issues of the day and then submit the case to the listening audience for its decision.

Legally Speaking is an interactive weekly talk show that airs every Sunday night at 9pm on WGN Radio. Co-hosts and practicing Chicago attorneys Greg Adamski and Karen Conti comment on the legal news in review, interview interesting and timely guests, and answer listeners’ legal questions and concerns.
