WGN Radio Presents “The People v. Drew Peterson”
Hosts Greg Adamski & Karen Conti to host mock trial of the closing arguments in the prosecution of Drew Peterson
CHICAGO, May 28, 2009 — Chicago attorneys Greg Adamski and Karen Conti, hosts of WGN Radio’s Legally Speaking, will host a mock trial of the closing arguments in the murder prosecution of Drew Peterson for the death of his third wife, Kathleen Savio, tonight (Thursday, May 28) from 6-8pm at the IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law.
“The People v. Drew Peterson” will feature Greg Adamski as moderator, Karen Conti as prosecutor, and lawyer Joseph R. Lopez as Drew Peterson’s defense attorney. Retired Cook County Circuit Court Judge Richard Neville will preside and a professional jury consultant will be present to quickly screen and select jurors who will be taken from the audience. Jury selection will begin at 5:30pm for attendees interested in being on the jury. The event is intended as an educational exposition, based solely on the facts that have been publicly reported.
Tickets are sold-out, but media cameras will be admitted. The event will be taped and broadcast live on WGN Radio on Sunday, June 14 and Sunday, June 21, prior to the Chicago Cubs broadcasts – the exact start times will be announced on wgnradio.com in the coming weeks.
